I wrote a newsletter piece in April 2026 asking a question I couldn’t stop thinking about: if, and when, AI displaces a parent’s job, what happens to the child? The research on what parental job loss does to children is clear and sobering. But nobody had mapped where those children actually live, or which communities are most likely to feel it first. So I built njaiearlywarning.org a free tool, to start answering that question with New Jersey data.
