Young people need more chances to be useful, make decisions, and build something with other people for their communities.

Those chances are harder to find than they should be. Garden State Seeds gives teams of young people a reason to start, a trusted, local adult to sign off, and up to $500 in approved supplies. The teenagers do the rest.

Five to eight grants this season, open to 13–18 year olds anywhere in New Jersey. I'll publish what happened when the season ends.
